I was inspired by the art professor who taught me everything I know about art today. I have applied several of the techniques I learnt from him throughout.
 
I used a skillful technique I learned from my professor that makes thick mediums such as Acrylic paints appear transparent. I drew the droplets using this method, and applied blotches of thick paint to create a leaf-like effect.
 
This piece makes me think of the unified diversity that is present in art. I make use of multiple technique and methods in this work, and each on of them compliments the other.
 
The veins of the leaves are carved into the paper with the back of a brush.
