Tumbling Onions

I made a live sketch of onions and a piece of garlic using the technique of pencil shading. The challenging part was to assemble the onions as at first they were repeatedly tumbling over one another. Another difficulty for me was to analyze and sketch each line correctly, since onions have multiple rings and shaving within themselves, that could easily create confusion.
